How to Apply for an Academic Job: The Whole Shebang
From finding and reading advertisements to compiling a compelling dossier, this session will provide an overview of the general process of applying for a teaching position at a college, seminary, or university. The emphasis will be on how to present a compelling profile to a potential employer. Participants will be asked to designate topics for a follow up session two weeks post event, This session will be led by Richard Rosengarten, Associate Professor of Religion and Literature and Director of Doctoral Studies.

A follow-up to the 2/7 event, this meeting will focus on specifics of the dossier. Topics may include the cover letter, resume, research and teaching statements, writing sample(s), and letters of reference. This session will be led by Richard Rosengarten, Associate Professor of Religion and Literature and Director of Doctoral Studies.
