Craft of Teaching- Requirements

Students planning to finish the Craft of Teaching Certificate on or after July 1, 2020 should submit their completion packet having satisfied the following requirements:

·      Participation in the Chicago Center for Teaching’s Teaching@Chicago Conference

·      Participation in 5 Introductory workshops

·      Completion of the Chicago Center for Teaching’s Course Design and College Teaching course (CCTE 50000)

·      Participation in 5 Advanced workshops

·      Submission of a Philosophy of Teaching Statement OR a Summary Reflection of the certificate program. 

Students can check their progress in the program at my.uchicago.edu. Any questions may be directed to the program coordinator at craftofteaching@uchicago.edu.
