Kevin Hector Named Naomi Shenstone Donnelley Professor

The Divinity School is pleased to announce that Kevin Hector, Professor of Theology and of the Philosophy of Religions, has been named by the University of Chicago's Board of Trustees as the Naomi Shenstone Donnelley Professor in the Divinity School. He was one of seventeen University of Chicago faculty members who recently received distinguished service professorships or named professorships. Hector’s teaching and research are devoted largely to interpretive questions, particularly how best to understand faith commitments, and how the outworking of such commitments can shed light on broader cultural issues.
