Laurie Zoloth

Laurie Zoloth, Margaret E. Burton Professor of Religion and Ethics, has been selected to receive the 2023 Engelhardt Award “for a provocative voice in bioethics which considers foundations.” The award is given annually by the Ohio State University Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities in partnership with the Foundation for Bioethics. The 2023 award will be given during the Conference on Medicine and Religion hosted at The Ohio State University March 12-14, 2023. Professor Zoloth will give a plenary presentation at the conference, and the award will be presented during this plenary session. The conference theme is "At the Limits of Medicine: Caring for Body and Soul."
