Hammerschlag Named Nuveen Professor

The Divinity School is pleased to announce that Sarah Hammerschlag, Professor of Religion and Literature, Philosophy of Religions and History of Judaism, has been named by the University of Chicago's Board of Trustees as the John Nuveen Professor in the Divinity School and the College. She was one of sixteen University of Chicago faculty members who recently received distinguished service professorships or named professorships.
