Join us for the Divinity School's Hiram Thomas Book Event featuring Jeffrey J. Kripal. Prof. Kripal will be discussing his new book, How to Think Impossibly: About Souls, UFOs, Time, Belief, and Everything Else (Chicago, 2024), in conversation with the Divinity School's Prof. Yousef Casewit. A book sale and signing will follow the event.

Prof Kripal is the J. Newton Rayzor Chair in Philosophy and Religious Thought at Rice University in Houston, Texas and a distinguished alumnus of the Divinity School's PhD program in History of Religions. 

The Seminary Co-Op, Hyde Park’s legendary academic bookstore, will be selling books on site and Prof. Kripal will be available for signing after the event.
