What's next for you?

Next year, I will be a Chancellor's postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder, after which I will start as an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Why study religion?

Because it’s tricky. I became fascinated in religion as an undergraduate interested in big questions (what happens after death? What does it mean to love?). Somehow the object of religion is bound up in these and informs human experience in and beyond the realm of belief.
