The Leadership Center for Social Justice at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities presents: The Praxis of Faith: A Panel on the Life and Work of James H. Cone

This virtual event will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 6:30-8:00pm.

In honor of Rev. Dr. James H. Cone (1938-2018), and in celebration of his life, work, and legacy, we invite you to engage in an online panel discussion focused on Cone's last work and memoir, Said I Wasn't Gonna Tell Nobody: The Making of a Black Theologian (Maryknoll, NY: Orbis Books, 2018). Panelists will reflect on Cone's continuing relevance in discussions about the power of faith in the practice of social justice.

Panelists include Dr. Tyler Davis (St. Mary's University), Dr. Matthew Harris (University of Chicago Divinity School) and Dr. Beverly Eileen Mitchell (Wesley Theological Seminary). The conversation will be moderated by Rev. Dr. Ry O. Siggelkow (United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities).
