Non-Degree Visiting Student FAQs

Graduate Non-Degree Visiting Students are advanced doctoral students in the process of conducting research and writing dissertations at other institutions who need to work with faculty and use resources at the University of Chicago Divinity School for up to one year to advance their projects. NDV Students are considered full-time students and are granted access to libraries, athletics facilities, and electronic networks, but they are not eligible to enroll formally in courses or hold teaching appointments within the university. In return for access to University of Chicago resources, NDV Students are charged a small tuition bill and are subject to university fees and insurance requirements. For more information, contact the Divinity School Dean of Students Office at divinityadmissions@uchicago.edu.
