RL Watson, Divinity School PhD 2018, is Assistant Professor of English and African American Studies at Lake Forest College. Prof. Watson's research interests include American racial culture, African-American literature, American religious history, and racial representation politics. Prof. Watson has two monographs currently in progress: The Dark Mask: Moral Metaphors of Darkness and the Representational Lives of Black Americans and  Anatomy of a Judas: A Novel
