Seth Joachim is a second-year PhD student in the Divinity School at the University of Chicago studying modern Jewish thought, philosophy, and ethics. He focuses on theories of education, identity formation, and philosophies of interpretation as they relate to the development of Jewish thought in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Seth received his M.A. in Divinity from the University of Chicago and his Ed.M. from Boston University. Before graduate school, Seth worked as a special education teacher in Boston, Massachusetts.
