Theology and Philosophy of Religions
Kari Martin is a PhD candidate in Theology and Philosophy of Religions. Her research focuses on phenomenology, existentialism, and their reception in the American philosophical and theological tradition. She also holds an MDiv from Duke Divinity School, where she focused on environmental philosophy of religion and particularly the work of Henry Bugbee. Her dissertation is on philosophies of solitude in the inter- and post-war period.
