Baptizing America: How Mainline Protestants Helped Build Christian Nationalism (Chalice Press, 2024), co-authored by Brian Kaylor and Beau Underwood, MDV’10, MPP’10, won the Associated Church Press’ Award of Excellence on May 2, 2025. The authors also won a 2025 Religion Communicators Council Derose-Hinkhouse Memorial Award for Best in Class Book.
