"Advocacy in the Pulpit and in the Classroom" was held at Swift Hall on Wednesday September 19th. It featured a keynote address, responses by a panel of professors and pastors, and a case study reflection/discussion.

Breakout sessions
A set of case studies (pdf) stimulated a discussion of advocacy in a variety of settings. Participants were randomly assigned to small groups with an assigned facilitator. Here are some questions they considered:
- What are the constraints?
- What are these two professions similar or different when it comes to dealing with advocacy?
