Two white men in suits before wooden bookcases. Professors David Tracy and Jean-Luc Marion

Jean-Luc Marion, Andrew Thomas Greeley and Grace McNichols Greeley Professor of Catholic Studies and Professor of the Philosophy of Religions and Theology, and Professor in the Committee on Social Thought and Philosophy at the University of Chicago, recently published "A Tribute to David Tracy" in Notre Dame's McGrath Institute for Church Life's Church Life Journal

Marion writes: "I still vividly remember David’s wide-ranging and fresh conversations ranging from Greek tragedy, English poetry, ancient and contemporary painting, language, non-Christian wisdom and, as always, the thought of the Fathers. They guided my own research in many areas including: divine names, on donation, and extended phenomenology."
