Grounds of Being Research Fellowship

Expanding support for Divinity School students.

The Divinity Students Association (DSA) and Grounds of Being are excited to expand their support for Divinity School students by creating the Grounds of Being Research Fellowship.  This initiative will annually provide summer funding for a compelling project in the study of religion for any Divinity School student, regardless of discipline or research topic.
Most of us are familiar with the many ways that Grounds of Being supports social and academic life: students, staff, and faculty come to the coffee shop to meet colleagues and students, to catch up with friends, or grab a much-needed jolt of caffeine on the way to class. However, Grounds of Being, in partnership with the the Divinity Students Association (DSA), also provides financial support for student wellbeing and academic pursuits.
Last year alone, Grounds of Being helped the DSA give more than $15,000 to fund conferences, provide students access to emergency funds through the Swift Cares Fund, and send students around the country to present their work. In doing so, they have contributed to the robust academic and community environment for which Swift Hall is justly famous.
The support and generosity of our Divinity School community makes the work that the DSA and Grounds of Being do together possible. Thanks to an anonymous alumnus, all gifts made through June 30 to this exciting project will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. The proceeds of your gift will support and expand the work done by DSA and Grounds of Being to support student-sponsored, student-led research and professional development.

The leadership of Grounds of Being and DSA invite you to donate to this exciting campaign today!
