Alumni Citations

Thursday October 18, 2018 | 6:00 pm | Swift Hall Common Room

The 2018 Alumni Citations will be awarded on October 18th, 2018, at a 6 pm reception directly following the John S. Nuveen lecture at 4:30 pm, delivered by Wu Hung, the Harrie A. Vanderstappen Distinguished Service Professor in Chinese Art History. The inaugural awards are being given to Rev. Sandhya Jha, MDiv'05, MPP'05, and Rev. Teresa (Terri) Hord Owens, MDiv'03.

Selected by the Divinity School Alumni Council after a process of nomination, the Alumni Citations honors alumni for their accomplishments and service. The Alumni Citations seek to be responsive to timely events in a person’s life, such as the publication of a new work, taking on an important role in public work, or special service in areas such as volunteering, teaching, or mentoring.

You may read more about both of the inaugural recipients in the profiles below.
