A new issue of History of Religions, edited by Divinity School faculty and published by the University of Chicago Press, is now available.  
Effective July 1, 2014 Richard B. Miller and Karin Krause will join us in Swift Hall.
The Divinity School is pleased to announce that Sara-Jo Swiatek, MA student and  President of the Divinity Students Association (DSA), was awarded with a Campus Life and Leadership Award.
The 519th Convocation will be held on Saturday, June 14th, 2014.

Our Wednesday Lunch program – open to all! – continues on May 21 with a Dean's Form on Wendy Doniger's On Hinduism.
Christoph Markschies, one of the world's leading scholars of early Christian studies, will deliver a public lecture and also be our guest at the Early Christian Studies Workshop.    
On Wednesday, April 23, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences announced its newly elected members for 2014, which include some of the world's most accomplished leaders from academia, business, public affairs, the humanities and the arts.
Betty M. Bayer will deliver her Martin Marty Center for the Advanced Study of Religion Senior Fellows Symposium—"Endings Without End: When Prophecy Fails and the Rise of New Age Spirituality and Cognitive Dissonance – on Thursday, May 15 at 4pm in Swift Hall's Common Room (first floor). A reception will follow.
Our Wednesday Lunch program continues on May 14 with Amanda Woodward speaking on  "Infants' Grasp of the Social World."
