The Alumni Council
In 1994, the Divinity School Alumni Council was established. Its mission, determined by the founding members, is to "help the administration of the Divinity School implement its strategic vision. From their perspectives as ministers and practicing scholars of religion, the members of the Council will offer advice and support to the School; assist the School in recruiting students; evaluate its efforts to train the next generation of scholars and ministers; help to places its graduates; raise funds; and communicate with its alumni and the public."
The Council meets two times each yearonce in November during the annual meetings of the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature, and a second time, in the spring, on campus at the time of the annual Alumnus/a of the Year Lecture.
Jaime Polson, M.Div. 2000, is the President of the Divinity School Alumni Council.
